Using the Logger with
Insight Software

Before the logger is used for the first time, you must:
1. Install Insight software.
2. Establish communication between the logger and the computer/software.
Before each profile run, you will:
3. Reset the logger to prepare it to receive fresh data.
After the profile run is complete, you will then:
4. Download the data from the logger.
These stages are described below.
Installing/Removing Insight
Datapaq Insight used with the XDL12 logger requires the following minimum
computer specification.
x 1 GHz processor.
x 2 Gb RAM.
x Monitor resolution 1024 u 768, 256 colors.
x 100 Mb free hard disk space.
x DVD drive.
x 1 free USB port.
x Microsoft Windows™ XP, Vista, 7, 8 or above.
x Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or above.
The XDL12 logger operates only with Datapaq Insight v.6.0 and above.
