Step 7: Install steering spring
A. Install one side of the spring in the eyebolt on the frame.
B. Using some force, extend the spring and install the opposite side in the eyebolt
on the front fork. You will hear an audible snap when the spring is properly
seated in the eyebolt. Install plastic protective sleeve around the spring.
WARNING! An improperly secured front wheel or handlebar stem can cause serious
injury or death. Always check that the front wheel and handlebar stem are secured to the
bike before each ride.
