Correct the transport tube routing. * The shuttle being stuck in the up position. Repair or replace the shuttle mechanism. * A damaged or improperly installed thermostat (open). Replace or reposition the thermostat. * The transport tube backed out of the coupling. Correct the coupling installation.

  If your Follett Ice Maker is not making ice and displays 'Low Water', it could be due to several reasons: * Insufficient water supply. Restore the water supply and check the water filters. If the evaporator was completely empty, you might need to press the reset button to restart the ice machine. * Low water pressure. The ice machine should start once the water reaches the normal low level. * A defective water feed solenoid valve stuck in the closed position. Replace the valve. * No water feed output from the PC board. Replace the PC board. * A plugged screen on the inlet side of the fill solenoid. Remove and clean the screen. * A plugged check valve. Remove and clean the check valve.

The solution is to air condition the area to below this temperature. * Poor ventilation or air recirculation. Try repositioning the ice machine or improving ventilation to prevent exhaust recirculation. * A clogged condenser (for air-cooled models). Clean the condenser grille. * Lack of water flow through the condenser (for water-cooled models). Restore water flow. * Fan issues. Ensure the fan is working correctly and that there are no blockages. Remove any obstructions from the fan blades. If there's no fan output from the PC board or the fan motor is faulty, replace the PC board or fan motor, respectively.

Poor water quality might be causing ice to jam the auger; in this case, clean the ice machine, increase flushing frequency, and adjust the TDS switch to the High TDS setting. Another possible cause is a damaged shuttle mechanism, which would need repair or replacement. An intermittent drive output from the PC board can also lead to evaporator freeze-up, triggering the HI AMPS error, requiring PC board replacement. Finally, check if the gearmotor is unplugged and plug it in if necessary.
