- Turn on the power (MASTER unit only). This is possible through 3 methods: 9 V battery (1), 9-12 V DC
power adapter (2) or 12 V DC direct current source (3).
NOTE: Connect the devices by means of the before mentioned methods only.
1.- Remove the rear cover of the main unit and insert a 9 V battery making sure that the polarity is
correct. Battery power is not recommended for extended use, in these cases power the intercom
via methods 2 or 3.
2.- Connect a power adapter to the 9-12 V DC plug with the polarity indicated next to the plug.
3.- Remove the back cover and connect the power supply to the 12 V DC and GND terminals.

- Install both units: On a flat surface or hanging from the wall using screws in the holes on the rear.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
FROM THE MASTER UNIT TO THE SUB UNIT
- The operation of this unit is given by the selected mode (right button of the MASTER unit):
- ON MODE: If the right button
is pressed (LED on), you willhear what the SUB unit is talking
about but you will not be heard from the SUB unit. In this mode the left button
will allow you to
activate the microphone, press and hold this button while speaking and release the button to listen.
- OFF MODE: If the right button
is not pressed (LED off) there is no open communication
channel and you can only send or receive ring tones. In this mode the left button
will allow you
to send a dial tone to the SUB unit.
FROM THE SUB UNIT TO THE MASTER UNIT
- CALL: You can send ring tones to the MASTER unit by pressing the
button.
- TALK: When the MASTER unit has activated communication (ON mode) you can talk or listen without
pressing the
button.
