Why I cannot create a MyKey for my Ford Automobile?

  You may not be able to create a MyKey because the key or transmitter used to start the vehicle does not have admin privileges, or it is the only admin key. Also, if your vehicle has keyless start, the keyless start transmitter may not be placed in the backup position. Another reason could be that the SecuriLock passive anti-theft system is disabled or in unlimited mode. In these cases, see an authorized dealer for a Ford-approved remote start system or Starting a Gasoline Engine.
