The core function of the LUNA™ 4 body is to cleanse and exfoliate the skin using T-Sonic™ pulsations. It features 8 manually adjustable T-Sonic™ pulsation intensities, allowing users to tailor their cleansing experience to their preference. These pulsations work to remove 99.5% of impurities, lift away dirt, dead skin cells, sweat, and grime in just one minute. The gentle exfoliation also preps the skin for enhanced lotion absorption, making subsequent skincare products more effective.
The device is equipped with an ultra-hygienic plush silicone brush head that effortlessly glides across the skin without pulling or stretching. This brush head is designed to be highly adaptable, flexing inwards like a sponge to accommodate various bodily contours, ensuring no spot is missed during cleansing. The silicone material is also 35 times more hygienic than nylon bristles and is suitable for all skin types, being BPA and phthalate-free.
To begin using the LUNA™ 4 body, users first need to unlock the device if it's newly unboxed. This is done by holding down the '+' and '-' buttons together for 3 seconds until the light flashes, indicating it's unlocked. This involves washing the brush surface with water and soap, then rinsing with warm water. It should then be patted dry with a lint-free cloth or towel. Similarly, when using the device, avoid clay-based, silicone-based, or grainy cleansers, exfoliators, or scrubs, as these may damage the soft silicone touchpoints. If the long silicone bristles become tangled, they can be gently brushed in any direction to reset them to their normal position.
For hygiene reasons, sharing the LUNA™ 4 body with others is not recommended. The device should not be left in direct sunlight or exposed to extreme heat or boiling water. Close supervision is necessary if the device is used by or near children or individuals with reduced physical and mental abilities. If the product appears damaged in any way, its use should be discontinued, as it contains no serviceable parts.
The LUNA™ 4 body comes with a 2-Year Limited Warranty, covering defects due to faulty workmanship or materials from normal use. To activate the warranty, users can register through the FOREO app or on the FOREO website. In case of a defect within the warranty period, FOREO will replace the device free of charge, provided reasonable evidence of the claim date is supplied.
For disposal, the device should not be treated as household waste due to its electronic components and lithium-ion battery. Instead, it should be taken to an appropriate collection point for recycling electrical and electronic equipment, in accordance with local environmental regulations. The battery must be removed before disposal, a process that voids the warranty and should only be undertaken when the device is ready to be disposed of.
