The FOREO LUNA™ 4 MEN is an advanced 2-in-1 smart facial cleansing and firming device specifically designed for male skin and beards. This innovative tool combines deep facial cleansing with firming massage routines, offering a comprehensive skincare solution.

Function Description

The LUNA™ 4 MEN utilizes T-Sonic™ pulsations and ultra-hygienic, non-abrasive silicone touchpoints to deliver a superior cleanse. It is engineered to remove dirt, grime, oil, and excess serum in just one minute, preparing the skin for a closer, smoother shave and helping to prevent razor burn. The device's cleansing mode channels T-Sonic™ pulsations into the skin, providing a more effective cleanse than hand-washing. This also conditions the skin for enhanced absorption of post-cleanse/shave skincare products.

Beyond cleansing, the device features a firming massage mode that employs lower-frequency T-Sonic™ pulsations. This mode offers 4 app-guided and 5 manual massage routines designed to combat fine lines, diminish puffiness, and promote a more chiseled, youthful appearance. The device is a compact and lightweight multipurpose tool, making it ideal for busy men.

Usage Features

The LUNA™ 4 MEN offers flexible usage with both manual controls and an interactive FOREO For You mobile app.

Cleansing Mode:

To use the cleansing mode, first dampen your skin and apply your preferred FOREO cleanser. Press the power button to activate the device. You can easily switch between different cleansing intensities:

Gentle Cleansing: Low-level T-Sonic™ pulsation intensities (1-5).
Regular Cleansing: Mid-level T-Sonic™ pulsation intensities (6-10).
Deep Cleansing: High-level T-Sonic™ pulsation intensities (11-16). Glide the device's silicone touchpoints in circular motions over your face until the built-in timer automatically turns the device off. Afterward, rinse and pat your face dry. The app allows you to adjust the cleansing duration up to 240 seconds and customize T-Sonic™ pulsations for each mode.

Firming Massage Mode:

For the firming massage, apply FOREO serum to clean, dry skin. Press the power button to turn on the device, then quickly double-press it to activate the firming massage mode. You can easily switch between your saved massage modes by pressing the mode buttons. Relax your face and glide the LUNA™ 4 MEN's firming massage surface in outward motions, following the contours of your face, until the built-in timer turns the device off. Continue with your usual skincare routine.

The device offers 5 brand-new massage patterns, each with unique benefits:

Lymphatic Drainage Massage: Encourages facial lymph circulation, ideal for fluid accumulation around the eyes and jawline.
Deep Tissue Massage: Uses deep pressure at slower intervals to relieve facial muscle tension, perfect for cheeks and jawline.
Trigger Point Massage: Employs alternating pressure levels to release tightness in muscle tissue, good for the neck.
Shiatsu Massage: Uses pulsing pressure to promote emotional and physical calm, and reduce fatigue, fantastic for the forehead and temples.
Reflexology Massage: Uses gentle to firm pressure to relax or restore natural energy levels, recommended for between the eyebrows and in front of the ears.

The FOREO For You app provides 4 pre-programmed video-guided massage routines:

Eyes on the Prize (2 min): Targets temples, undereye, and brow bone to reduce puffiness and fine lines.
Nothing but Neck (2 min): Lifts and firms the neck and decollete.
Magic Mouth (2 min): Targets corners of the mouth, jawline, and neck.
Contour Crazy (4 min): Sculpts cheeks, jaw, and neck. The app also features a "Mirror mode" that allows you to use your mobile device as a mirror during treatments.

Device Control and Customization:

The LUNA™ 4 MEN can be controlled manually via its buttons or through the FOREO For You app. The app allows you to set preferences for both cleansing and massage modes, and the device will remember these settings for offline use. You can adjust T-Sonic™ intensity levels for each massage mode (Gentle: 1-5, Regular: 6-10, Deep: 11-16).

Travel Lock:

For convenience during travel, you can lock your device by holding down the plus and minus buttons together for 3 seconds. To unlock, repeat the same procedure.

Battery Life:

The device is USB-rechargeable, with a 2-hour charge providing up to 600 uses (based on a 1-minute treatment time per use). The charging port is 100% waterproof, allowing safe use in the shower.

Maintenance Features

Cleaning the Device:

Always clean your LUNA™ 4 MEN thoroughly after each use. Wash the brush surface with water and soap, then rinse with warm water. Pat it dry with a lint-free cloth or towel. For optimal results, it is recommended to spray the device with FOREO Silicone Cleaning Spray and rinse with warm water.

Important Cleaning Notes:

Avoid using clay-based, silicone-based, or grainy cleansers, exfoliators, or scrubs, as these may damage the device's soft silicone touchpoints.
If the long silicone bristles become tangled, gently brush them in any direction to reset them to their normal position.
Never use cleaning products containing alcohol, petrol, or acetone, as they may irritate the skin and damage the silicone.

Battery Removal for Disposal:

This process is irreversible and will void the warranty. It should only be undertaken when the device is ready for disposal. Since the device contains a lithium-ion battery, it must be removed before disposal and should not be discarded with household waste. To remove the battery, open the inner plastic shell after removing the silicone outer layer. Remove the battery and dispose of it according to local environmental regulations. Wear gloves for safety during this process.

General Care:

Do not leave the device submerged in water.
Avoid leaving the LUNA™ 4 MEN in direct sunlight and never expose it to extreme heat or boiling water.
The device is designed to last without the need for replacement brush heads.

Troubleshooting:

If the device is not activated when pressing the power button, the battery may be dead. Recharge it using the USB charging cable for up to 2 hours until fully charged, then restart by holding down the power button.
If the device cannot be switched off or interface buttons do not respond, the microprocessor may be temporarily malfunctioning. Press and hold the power button to restart the device.
If the device won't sync to the FOREO app, try switching Bluetooth off and on again, closing and reopening the app, ensuring your mobile operating system is updated, restarting your phone, deleting cookies and cache memory, and ensuring the device is fully charged and Bluetooth is on.

The LUNA™ 4 MEN is designed for daily use, either morning or night, and is gentle enough for regular use. It is recommended not to use the device for more than 3 minutes per day due to its cleansing efficiency. For hygiene reasons, sharing the device with others is not recommended. When using the device, there is no need to apply pressure; gently cleanse your face using circular movements on the cheeks and forehead, and glide up and down the nose. It can be used around the eye area with particular care, avoiding direct contact with eyelids or eyes. If you have a serious skin condition or have undergone a cosmetic procedure, consult a physician or skincare professional before use.
