3 USAGE
3.1 Installation
Only a specialist authorized by Franke may install the appliance.
3.2 Function
The cooling unit is designed exclusively to keep milk and other media (ready-
to-drink beverages such as Cold Brew) cool for the preparation of beverages
with a SB1200 Franke coffee machine. Only use precooled milk or media (2-5
°C).
The cooling unit has the following functions:
– Keeping milk and ready-to-drink beverages cool
– Displaying the temperature of milk and other media
– Setting the cooling temperature
– Monitoring the fill level when using Franke containers for milk and ready-
to-drink beverages
– Pre-warming the cups and glasses on the heated cup tray for preparing
hot beverages (if the cooling unit is installed to the left-hand or right-hand
side of the coffee machine)
– Preventing unauthorized access via a lockable door
3.3 Function of the FoamMaster
The FoamMaster also has the following functions:
– Warming milk for the beverages
– Creating milk foam
– Automatically cleaning the milk system
– Automatically monitoring the fill levels
