How to troubleshoot Franklin Electric INLINE 1100 SPECPAK Water Pump PLC screen that does not turn on?

  If the PLC screen of your Franklin Electric Water Pump does not turn on, it might be due to several reasons. The site power to the control panel may be interrupted, so verify that site power is live to the panel. The main control panel disconnect may be in the OFF (0) position; turn the control panel disconnect to the ON (1) position. The main fuses or the fuses for the PLC may be blown; check the fuses and replace if necessary. Alternatively, the PLC may be malfunctioning, so replace the PLC.

  If you notice noise in the discharge header when the Franklin Electric Water Pumps are operating, it could be due to an air pocket in the discharge header. Remove the air in the manner described in the set up instructions.

  If the green power light for the Franklin Electric Water Pump is not on, the site power to the control panel may be interrupted. Verify that site power is live to the panel. Also, the main control panel disconnect may be in the OFF (0) position, so turn the control panel disconnect to the ON (1) position. The pump power disconnect may be in the OFF position, so turn the pump disconnects to the on position. The main control panel fuses or the fuses for the pump may be blown; in this case, check fuses and replace if necessary. In addition, the PLC may be malfunctioning, so replace PLC. If the Green power light for the pump IS ON, the pressure setpoint may be met and there is no current demand, so no action is required.
