Maintenance menuwindow
!
Confirming maintenance work thathas not
been performed on time can lead to damage
to the vehicleorits assemblies. It could also
resultinincreased wear.
If youconfirm maintenance work acciden-
tally or before it hasbeenperformed,the
maintenance system will calculate anew
maintenance duedate. To prevent damage
to the vehicleand its assemblies, have the
corresponding maintenance work carried
outimmediately.
Onlyconfirm maintenance work if the main-
tenance work hasactually been completed.
The maintenance system calculatesmainte-
nance duedates for the vehicleand its assem-
bliesbased on the vehicle's operating condi-
tions. The event windowautomaticallydisplays
maintenance duedates 14 days in advance.
Whenthe maintenance duedatehas been
reachedorexceeded,the on-board computer
shows additional event windows
(Y page 89).
If the maintenance work is carriedout at a
FreightlinerService Center, the factthatthe
work hasbeencarriedout professionallywill
be confirmedinthe on-board computerand
the service report.
