To display the reservoir pressure: use the
u or t button to scroll to ã moni-
toring info.
The menu windowshowsthe reservoir pres-
sure of brake circuits \ and ^ as a
bar display.
Engine menu window
In the EngineEngine menu window, you can check
the engine oil leveland display the engine's
operating hours.Check the engine oil level
before the start of every journey.The engine
oil levelisnot displayed while driving.

Park the vehicleonalevelsurface.

Apply the parking brake.

Switch off the engine.

Turn the key to the drive position in the igni-
tion lock.

Waitatleast five minutes after switching off
the engine.

The service counter is not suitable for
measuring the driving hours of the driver.
Use equipment which is suitable for this
purpose.

If Oil level lowOil level low or Oil level too lowOil level too low
is displayed in the menu window, immedi-
ately top up the amount of oil displayed
(Y page163) and call up the oil levelagain.

If the oil levelistoo low,donot start the
engine.

If the oil leveldisplay is not available,repeat
the oil levelcheck.

If it is not possible to display the oil level
after repeated attempts, have the oil level
display checked at aqualified specialist
workshop.
Coolantmenu window

Events menu window
You can display stored malfunctions and mes-
sagesinthe EventsEvents menu. If you have recti-
fied the causeofthe malfunction/message,
the on-board computernolonger displaysthe
event.

which you can assist the workshopstaff during
fault diagnosis, e.g. via roadside assistance.
The DiagnosisDiagnosis menu windowcontains, for
example, alistofall control units (systems)
installed in the vehicle. You can obtainfurther
information from any Freightliner service cen-
ter.
