Function Description
The Fridgemaster fridge freezer is designed for household and similar applications, including staff kitchen areas, farmhouses, hotels, motels, bed and breakfast environments, and catering. It features separate compartments for refrigeration and freezing, allowing for optimal storage of various food items and beverages. The appliance utilizes isobutene (R600a) as a refrigerant, a natural gas known for its high environmental compatibility. The design incorporates a "No Frost" system, meaning it automatically defrosts regularly, eliminating the need for manual defrosting. Water from the defrosting process is drained into a drip tray where it evaporates.
The appliance includes a "Multi Air Flow" system to ensure efficient cooling and even temperature distribution throughout the refrigerator compartment. It also features a "Cool Fresh Box" with adjustable temperature modes ("Fridge," "Chill," and "Fresh") to cater to different storage needs, with the "Fresh" option providing a temperature 2-3°C lower than the main refrigerator chamber. The freezer compartment is designed for freezing and storing foods like meat and ice cream.
Usage Features
The fridge freezer is equipped with a user-friendly display panel that illuminates for 3 seconds upon power-on and then turns off after 1 minute if no buttons are pressed or doors are closed. Temperature control is intuitive, allowing users to set desired temperatures for both the fridge and freezer compartments. The recommended initial settings are 4°C for the refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer.
The freezer temperature can be adjusted between -16°C and -24°C using the "Freezer °c" button, with the corresponding value displayed on the indicator. Similarly, the fridge temperature can be set between 8°C and 2°C using the "Fridge °c" button.
Two special functions enhance food preservation:
- Super Freeze: Activated by pressing the "Freezer °c" button for 3 seconds, this function rapidly lowers the freezer temperature to -24°C, enabling faster freezing and better retention of vitamins and nutrients. It automatically switches off after 52 hours but can be manually deactivated. Users are cautioned not to store bottled or canned carbonated drinks in the freezer during Super Freeze, as they may explode.
- Super Cool: Activated by pressing the "Fridge °c" button for 3 seconds, this function quickly refrigerates food, maintaining freshness for longer. The fridge temperature indicator will display 2°C. This function automatically switches off after 6 hours but can also be manually deactivated.
The interior of the appliance is designed for flexible storage. The door racks are suitable for eggs, canned liquids, bottled drinks, and packed food, and are completely removable for cleaning. Two glass shelves in the refrigerator chamber can be adjusted to various heights. The crisper, mounted on telescopic extension slides, is specifically for storing vegetables and fruits. It features a humidity control sliding block, allowing users to adjust airflow and humidity levels (higher airflow for lower humidity, recommended for fruit; lower airflow for higher humidity, recommended for vegetables). The "Cool Fresh Box" offers three temperature modes for versatile storage of beverages and food. The freezer drawers are ideal for frozen foods, with a caution against storing bottles to prevent breakage from freezing. Maintenance Features
Regular maintenance is crucial for the appliance's longevity and hygiene. Before any maintenance, the appliance must be switched off and unplugged from the mains socket to prevent electrical shock.
- Cleaning: The appliance, including its exterior and interior accessories, should be cleaned regularly, at least every two months.

- Door Seals Cleaning: Door seals should be kept clean to prevent stickiness and tearing. They can be washed with a mild detergent and warm water, then rinsed and thoroughly dried before powering on the appliance.
- Defrosting: As a frost-free refrigerator, manual defrosting is not required. The automatic defrost system ensures that any frost build-up on the freezer compartment's interior walls (which can occur if the door is opened frequently or left open too long) is regularly removed. If frost becomes too thick, users can remove food, unplug the appliance, leave the doors open to accelerate thawing, and then clean the freezer as described above. Sharp objects should not be used to remove frost.
