Function Description:

The Fridgemaster Fridge Freezer is designed for domestic household use, intended for keeping food and beverages cool and frozen. It features separate compartments for refrigeration and freezing, with various shelves, drawers, and door racks for organized storage. The appliance incorporates "All Around Cooling" technology to maintain consistent temperatures. Key functions include Super Cool and Super Freeze modes for rapid cooling and freezing, an Artificial Intelligence function for automatic temperature adjustment, and a door alarm to alert users if a door is left open. The freezer compartment is suitable for storing foods that require freezing, such as meat and ice cream, while the refrigerator compartment is ideal for vegetables, fruit, cooked food, and dairy products.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Models: MS91518FFS, MS91518FFB
  • Power Supply: Single phase alternating current of 220-240V / 50Hz. An automatic A.C. voltage regulator of more than 350W is recommended if the supply fluctuates outside this range.
  • Refrigerant: Isobutene (R600a), which is flammable.
  • Climate Class: Performs well in climate classes from SN to ST, with ambient temperatures ranging from +10°C to +43°C depending on the specific class (SN: +10°C to +32°C, N: +16°C to +32°C, ST: +16°C to +38°C, T: +16°C to +43°C).
  • Dimensions (required space): Width (W) 908mm, Width (W1) 411.5mm, Depth (D) 550mm, Depth (D1) 1096.5mm.
  • Ventilation: Requires at least 75mm of space from the back to the wall, 100mm from the top, 100mm from the side to the wall, and clear space upfront for doors to open 150°.
  • Temperature Control: Digital display controls for setting refrigerator and freezer temperatures. Recommended initial settings are 4°C for the refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer.
  • Lighting: LED lights in both freezer and fridge zones.

Usage Features:

  • Display Controls: The appliance features a control panel with icons for temperature settings and different modes. The backlighting of icons activates upon power-on and turns off after 60 seconds of inactivity with doors closed.
  • Unlock Function: Buttons are locked when the lock icon is illuminated. Pressing the "A/" button for 3 seconds unlocks them. The fridge automatically locks if no buttons are pressed within 20 seconds.
  • Temperature Adjustment: Users can adjust the refrigerator and freezer temperatures by pressing dedicated buttons. The display shows the set temperature.

  • Door Alarm: Sounds if a fridge or freezer door is open for over 2 minutes. The buzzer stops automatically after 10 minutes or when the door is closed.
  • Adjustable Doors: If doors are not level, a spanner can be used to adjust the lower hinge bolt to raise the door, then lock the nut in place.
  • Refrigerator Compartment: Suitable for vegetables, fruit, and packed food. Food should be packed to prevent moisture loss and flavor permeation. Features glass shelves and door racks that can be adjusted to different heights. All door racks are removable for cleaning.
  • Freezer Compartment: Designed for frozen foods. Drawers mounted on telescopic slides provide ample storage.
  • Ice Box: A removable accessory for making and storing ice cubes. Water should be poured into the ice tray up to the top line.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning:
    • Frequency: The appliance (interior and exterior) should be cleaned regularly, at least every two months, for hygienic reasons.
    • Safety: Always switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the mains socket before cleaning to prevent electrical shock.
    • Exterior: Wipe the digital panel and display with a clean, soft cloth. Spray water onto the cleaning cloth (not directly on the appliance surface). Clean doors, handles, and cabinet surfaces with a mild detergent and dry with a soft cloth.
    • Interior: Wipe with a weak solution of bicarbonate of soda, rinse with warm water using a wrung-out sponge or cloth, and dry thoroughly before replacing shelves and baskets.
    • Door Seals: Keep door seals clean to prevent stickiness and tearing. Wash with a mild detergent and warm water, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Only power on the appliance once seals are completely dry.
    • Avoid: Do not use sharp objects, thinners, car detergents, Clorox, ethereal oil, abrasive cleansers, or organic solvents like Benzene, as these can damage the surface or cause fire.
  • Defrosting: Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Use a plastic scraper to remove frost.
  • LED Light Replacement: If the LED light is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or competent person.
  • Moving the Appliance: When moving, turn the adjustable feet back up so the appliance can roll freely. Reinstall the appliance when relocating. Rollers are for forward/backward movement only; moving sideways may damage the floor and rollers.
  • Switching Off for Extended Periods:
    1. Remove all food.
    2. Remove the power plug.
    3. Clean and dry the interior thoroughly.
    4. Wedge all doors open slightly to allow air circulation and prevent mold.
  • Disposal:
    • Do not dispose of as household waste.
    • Packaging materials are recyclable; dispose of them in suitable waste collection containers.
    • Before disposal, pull out the mains plug, cut off the power cord, and discard the plug.
    • Refrigerant and insulation gases are flammable and must be disposed of professionally by authorized waste disposal centers to prevent eye injuries or ignition. Ensure the refrigerant circuit tubing is not damaged.
    • The product marking indicates it should not be disposed of with other household wastes in the EU. Use return and collection systems or contact the retailer for environmentally safe recycling.
