Using the continuous fan setting is recommended for optimal comfort. Finally, verify that the unit's cooling or heating capacity is appropriate for the room size.

Make sure the LCDI power cord is properly plugged into a grounded, three-prong receptacle, referring to the "Electrical Rating Tables" on page 13 for the correct type. If the LCDI power cord has tripped, press and release the RESET button until you hear a click. Also, verify that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped, and if so, reset it. Lastly, check the supply circuit fuse and replace it if blown. If there was a local power failure, the unit should resume normal operation once power is restored.
