Signal Word
Meaning
WARNING
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or death.
CAUTION
Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
Caution also alerts against unsafe practices.
NOTICE
Indicates special instructions that are important but not related to physical injury hazards.
