No arc after torch trigger is pressed
Mains switch is ON, ready indicator is lit up, wirefeeder running
Cause: operating mode selector switch set to „feeder inching“
Remedy: select a different operating mode
Cause: open circuit in a mains phase
Remedy: replace mains fuse, check plug, socket and mains cable
Cause: earth connection open or not connected properly
Remedy: check earthing cable and terminal
Cause: fault in the power cable in the welding torch
Remedy: change hosepack
Cause: main contactor or stage switch is faulty
Remedy: contact After-Sales Service
Torch and hosepack become very hot
Cause: design dimensions of the torch are not sufficient for the task, or the duty
cycle has been exceeded
Remedy: note the duty cycle and loading limit / use more robust type of torch
Mains fuse or automatic circuit breaker trips when torch trigger is pressed

Cause: fuse/automatic circuit breaker too weak (or wrong type)
Remedy: use correct fuses as described in technical data / use automatic circuit
breaker with „U“ characteristic
Unsatisfactory interval welding result
Cause: interval welding time t1 and/or interval pause t2 set incorrectly
Remedy: set interval welding time t1 and interval pause t2 correctly using relevant
adjusters
Irregular quality of welding points when spot welding
Cause: sheets are not lying flush one on top of the other
Remedy: press the sheets firmly together
Cause: surface of workpiece is very dirty
Remedy: clean surfaces of sheets to be welded
