STEP 1
Prep the surface
Locate the appropriate place for your Smoke & Heat Sensor. Wipe the surface
clean before placing.
STEP 2
Place the sensor
• If placing on a wall: Place the sensor 4–12 inches below the ceiling
• If placing on a ceiling: Place the sensor at least 4 inches away from the
nearest wall
• Press and hold the sensor rmly in place, and hold for 30 seconds
