Insomecases,itmaybebeneficialtomanuallyspecifywhichbrandthereceivershouldbindto.Theprocedureis
thesameasabove–exceptbeforebindingputthesuppliedjumpersintothefollowingpositions.
CPPMandRSSIoutputmode(AdvancedUsers)
ForsomeapplicationssuchasOSD,FBLHelicopters,FlightControllers,ReturntoHomesystemsetc.,theymay
requireCPPMand/orRSSIinput.Ifyouneedthisforyourapplication,youcanenableitbyputtingajumper
betweenpins3and4,thenlinkyourreceiverasdescribedabove.Oncesuccessfully
linked,thereceiverwill
outputCPPMonServoConnector1,andoutputRSSIonServoConnector2.AstheRSSIoutputisadigitalsquare
wave,someunitsmayrequireananaloguefilterfortheirRSSIinput.InHitecAFHSSmode,ServoConnectors5to
8willbecomeChannels6
to9.Pleaserefertoyourunitinstructionsformoreinformation.

Thefailsafefunction,intheeventofsignalloss,willmovetheservostoadesignatedpositionandtostopany
propulsionsystem.Thisistotryandpreventamodelfromcausingdamageorharm.Note,inmanycountries,it

LAlwayssetthefailsafe.Asaminimum,anyelectric
motorsshouldbesettostopandICenginesto
beeitheridlingorstopped.
LAlwaysperformarangecheck.Thisshouldbedone
asaminimumbeforethefirstflightoftheday.

Wrapitinfoamorothersimilarvibration
absorbentmaterials.
✋Electronicdevicesandfluidsdonotmix!Ifthe
receiverisgoingtobeusedinanareaofhigh
moistureorwhereitcouldgetwet,please
ensureitisputintoasealedcontainerto
protectit.
