Why is my FT Fan vibrating so much?
    • A
      Allison AlvarezJul 28, 2025
If your FT Fan is experiencing strong vibrations, several factors could be the cause. It may be due to corrosion or wear, or foreign matter adhered to the impeller, which requires removing the foreign matter and correcting the balance. Other potential issues include a poor connection between the boss and shaft of the impeller (consider replacing the impeller or shaft), a bend in the shaft (replace the motor), contact between the rotor and casing (reassemble the casing), resonant vibration due to an improper foundation (reinforce it), insufficient tightening of the mounting bolt (retighten the bolt and nut), or damage to the bearing (replace the bearing).

Why is my FT Fan performance so low?
    • J
      Jessica FuentesAug 4, 2025
If your FT Fan has low performance, it could be due to several reasons. The rotational speed or frequency might have decreased, so regulate the power supply. The fan might be in reverse rotation, so swap the wires of the motor. There may be corrosion, wear, or foreign matter on the impeller, so clean, repair, or replace it. The suction filter could be clogged, so clean it. The damper might not be opening or closing correctly, so repair the damper. Dust might have deposited inside the casing and duct, so clean the area. There might be excessive resistance, so consider installing a booster fan. Finally, there might be errors in calculating the specific weight of gas, so measure the specific weight or perform a gas analysis.

What to do if the FT Fan motor is overloaded?
    • S
      Sarah MorenoAug 12, 2025
If your FT Fan motor is overloaded, it could be due to an underestimation of actual resistance, so adjust with the damper. Alternatively, it could be caused by a miscalculation of gas density, so reduce the rotational speed.

How to fix abnormal noise in FT Fan?
    • J
      Jesse DavenportAug 20, 2025
If your FT Fan is making abnormal noises, this could be due to damage to the bearing, so replace it. It could also be caused by intake of foreign matter, so inspect the inside of the casing. Another potential cause is contact between the rotor and casing, so correct the contact between them.
