8. Special accessories
8.1 Dampers
(1) Refer to the external dimensions drawing (supplied separately), and install the dampers in the
designated locations paying attention to the direction of the air flow.
(2) Open and close the vane to check that the blade does not contact the casing or ducts.
(3) For electric, pneumatic or other driving systems, carefully read their instruction manuals.
8.2 Expansion joints
Make the distance between the sides the same as that shown on the external dimensions
drawing, and take care not to pull or compress the joints excessively. Do not use the expansion
joints to correct the fan or duct alignment.
8.3 Filter
Consider installing the fan with short ducts in order to make it easier to disassemble the fan.
Install filters after thoroughly cleaning the inside of the fan and ducts.
Inspect the filter soon after beginning the operation as it tends to clog easily at this time.
Periodically remove the filter element and wash it if possible, or replace with new one.
