7 Slightly push the booklet staple cartridge
upwards, and make sure that it clicks into place.
Note • Return the booklet staple cartridge until ( )
of the booklet staple cartridge is fitted in
( ) of the booklet unit.
8 Return the booklet unit to its original position.
9 Close the finisher front door.
Note • If the door is not closed completely, a message appears and the machine will remain paused.

Staple Jams in Staple Cartridge
(for D2-Staple-Finisher or D2-Staple-Finisher with Booklet Maker)
The following describes how to clear staple jam occurred in the staple cartridge of the D2-
Staple-Finisher (optional) and the D2-Staple-Finisher with Booklet Maker (optional).
This section describes the procedure to remove the jammed staples in the D2-Staple-
Finisher with Booklet Maker, as an example. You can apply the same procedure to the D2-
Staple-Finisher.
1 Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the finisher right door.
2 Grasp the Handle [R1] of the staple cartridge
holder, and pull out the holder towards you.
