• When the machine is in Energy Saver mode, exit Energy Saver mode by pressing the <Energy Server>
button and the <Machine Status> button on the control panel before you replace the staple
cartridge.
• When you replace the toner cartridge, press the <Machine Status> button and check the current
status for the staple cartridge even when the control panel is lit.
Note • To order a staple cartridge, contact our Customer Support Center.
1 Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the finisher right door.
2 Hold the [R1] at the position shown in the
figure.
3 Pull the staple cartridge out of the finisher.
Note • The staple cartridge is firmly inserted. A slight
force is required to pull the cartridge out of
the finisher.
4 Hold the positions indicated by an arrow to
remove the staple cartridge from the unit.
5 Push a new staple cartridge into the unit.
