104 Printer Connection and Software Installation
Installing Print Drivers
NOTE:
• The print driver fx-docuprint-p255-xx-xnoar.rpm or fx-docuprint-p255_X-X_all.deb is included in the linux
folder on the Software Pack CD-ROM.
• For Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Desktop (x86)
1 Double-click fx-docuprint-p255-xx-xnoar.rpm on the Software Pack CD-ROM.
2 Click Install.
3 Enter the administrator's password, and then click Authenticate.
Installation starts. When the installation is complete, the window automatically closes.
• For SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 (x86)
1 Double-click fx-docuprint-p255-xx-xnoar.rpm on the Software Pack CD-ROM.
2 Click Install.
3 Enter the administrator's password, and then click Authenticate.
Installation starts. When the installation is complete, the window automatically closes.
• For Ubuntu 10 (x86)
1 Double-click fx-docuprint-p255_X-X_all.deb on the Software Pack CD-ROM.
2 Click Install Package.
3 Enter the user password, and click OK.
4 Click Close.
5 Click the X button at the top-right of the dialog box to close the Package Installer dialog box.
