Why is my Fujitsu ABT14RB Air Conditioner not cooling or heating well?
    • K
      Katelyn WilliamsAug 20, 2025
Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner not cooling (or heating) properly? Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air conditioner’s intake grille or outlet port is blocked. Ensure that you have correctly adjusted the room temperature settings (thermostat). Make sure no windows or doors are open. If cooling, check if sunlight is entering the room and close the curtains. Also, consider if there are heating devices, computers, or too many people in the room.

Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
    • M
      Mr. Troy BeardSep 4, 2025
Why is the airflow weak or stopping in my Fujitsu Air Conditioner? When heating is started, the fan speed is temporarily very low to allow internal parts to warm up. If the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting during heating, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at very low fan speed. The unit will also temporarily stop during heating (between 7 and 15 minutes) for automatic defrosting; the OPERATION indicator lamp will flash during this time. The fan may operate at very low speed during dry operation or when the unit monitors the room’s temperature. Also, in monitor AUTO operation, the fan will operate at very low speed.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner making noise?
    • N
      nuneznicoleSep 6, 2025
Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner making noise? During operation and immediately after stopping the unit, the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping may be heard. Also, noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation (sound of coolant flowing). During heating, a sizzling sound may be heard occasionally, which is produced by the automatic defrosting operation.
