Always shut off power before performing any maintenance or work on the unit.
Instructions to remove the front cover, air filters, and initial screws.
Gently pry the top cover off using a flat head screwdriver at specified locations.
Remove room/pipe thermistors and unscrew the electrical section.
Separate the coil from the blower wheel/drain pan and disconnect field wires.
Drop out the fan section, unclip the unit, and disconnect the drain line.
Protect surrounding areas and use a non-acidic cleaner on the evaporator coils.
Clean the drain pan after removing the blower wheel and ensure it is dry before reassembly.
Wash the blower wheel with warm water, dry thoroughly, and lubricate the fan holder.
Prevent mold by inspecting/cleaning filters and coils, sealing holes, and wrapping pipes.
