Connecting an external m onitor
An analogue monitor is connected to the ana logue VGA monitor port, a digital monitor to
the DisplayPort. Screen output is limited to a maximum of two screens at an y one time
(see "
Key combinations", Page 25, section "To ggle output scre en").

► Switch off the note
book a nd the external monitor.
► Plug the data cable of the external monitor into the monitor po rt.
► First switch on th
e exte rnal monitor and then the notebook.

tch back and forth between the external screen and the LCD
screen of t he no

If you wish to
operate the scre en via a DVI po rt, use the Port R eplicator
