Battery Changing Indicator ( )
This lamp indicates changing status of main
battery.
•
Green Lamp is lit
Available to change main battery.

remaining capacity promptly as it is.
State of Battery Change Function
LIFEBOOK may shut-down when the
remaining reserve battery low and leave it
as it is.
•
Orange Lamp is lit
Transition to state of available to replace
main battery.
Wait until the LED status is changed.
LIFEBOOK may shut-down when the main
battery is removed.
And LIFEBOOK shift to standby mode
when LIFEBOOK is power-on.
•
Orange Lamp is blinking
Available to change main battery, but the
remaining reserve battery is low.
In the state, please promptly replace with a
battery that has enough remaining capacity.
When the remaining amount of reserve
battery keeps decreasing, LIFEBOOK
may shut-down.
•
Red Lamp is lit
Not available to change main battery.
Don't remove main battery. Return main
battery to locked state and connect AC
adapter. After a while, please try this
procedure from the beginning again.
When the main battery is removed,
LIFEBOOK may shut-down.
•
Red Lamp is blinking
Detect abnormality of reserve battery.
Please promptly shut-down LIFEBOOK.
Repair is necessary when this status
lasts many times.
