If your Fujitsu LIFEBOOK does not recognize a USB device, or the device does not seem to work properly, it may not be properly installed. Remove and re-install the device. The device may have been installed while an application was running, so the system is not aware of its installation. Close the application and restart your LIFEBOOK. If you turn on your Fujitsu Laptop and nothing happens, there could be several reasons. The power adapter might be faulty, so try a different one. The battery could be completely discharged, or there might be no power adapter installed. Check the Status Indicator Panel to determine the battery condition and install a power adapter to recharge the battery. The battery itself might be faulty. Use the Status Indicator panel to verify the presence and condition of the batteries. If a battery is indicating a short, operate from another power source. Also, verify that your adapter is connected correctly and that the AC cord is properly connected to a working outlet. If you are using an auto/airline adapter in a car, make sure the ignition switch is in the On or Accessories position. If the batte...

      Paul AyalaNov 8, 2025
There are several reasons why your Fujitsu Laptop might turn off unexpectedly. It could be due to power management settings that are set for auto timeouts which are too short. To fix this, press any button on the keyboard, or move the mouse to restore operation. If that fails, push the Power/Suspend/Resume button. Also, check your power management settings, or close your applications and go to Power Options Properties located in the Control Panel to adjust the timeout values to better suit your needs. Another reason might be a battery failure. Verify the battery condition using the Status Indicator panel, and if the battery is shorted, contact Fujitsu Support to find out how to get a replacement battery installed. Also, ensure that the power adapter is properly plugged in and the outlet ha...

If there's no sound coming from the built-in speakers on your Fujitsu Laptop, here are a few things to check: * First, make sure the volume isn't turned too low. Use the [Fn+F9] key combination on your keyboard to increase the volume. * Also, check the software volume control to ensure it's not set too low. Manually adjusting the volume using the Volume button or keyboard hot keys should dynamically adjust the volume. If that doesn’t work, adjust the sound volume control settings in your software or application. * If headphones are plugged in, remove them, as this disables the built-in speakers. * Finally, check if the speakers have been muted using the Volume icon in the system tray. Click on the Volume icon in the tool tray on the bottom right of the screen and uncheck the Mute ...
