2.2.1 Power Supply

Connect the MB 91F467 / MB 86276 Evaluation board with a power supply between 5 and 34 V
DC and approximate 10 Watt at connector X100.
Be aware to use the correct polarity as shown in picture 2-5.

A protection against wrong polarity ( D109 ) and overcurrent ( F100 ) is implemented but a too
high current can damage the power supply or can produce great heat !
The step-down switching regulator LT3481 from Linear Technology ( U101 ) regulates from the
input voltage the +5 V on the board.
The required voltages + 3.3 V and + 1.8 V will be regulated from the dual switching power
regulator LT1940EFE-PBF from Linear Technologies ( U100 ) from the +5 V on the board.
