Summary

Consumables and Replacement Cycles

Replacing the Brake Roller

Turn off and wait

Turn off the scanner and wait for at least 15 minutes.

Unplug power cable

Disconnect the scanner from the power source.

Remove documents

Clear all documents from the ADF paper chute.

Open ADF cover

Open the Automatic Document Feeder cover.

Remove brake roller

Lift the roller and pull the shaft from the slot.

Remove from shaft

Detach the brake roller from its shaft.

Attach new brake roller

Insert the protrusion of the new brake roller onto the shaft.

Attach the shaft

Insert the shaft into the designated holes to secure the roller.

Close cover and ADF

Close the ADF cover and the Automatic Document Feeder.

Plug in and turn on

Reconnect the power cable and power on the scanner.

Reset brake roller counter

Reset the counter via the Operator Panel or Software Operation Panel.

Replacing the Pick Roller

Turn off and wait

Turn off the scanner and wait for at least 15 minutes.

Unplug power cable

Disconnect the scanner from the power source.

Remove documents

Clear all documents from the ADF paper chute.

Open ADF

Open the Automatic Document Feeder.

Open sheet guide

Slide side guides and pull sheet guide open from the dip.

Remove pick roller

Rotate bushing and slide shaft to remove the roller.

Remove shaft

Rotate bushing and pull shaft away from the scanner.

Remove pick rollers from shaft

Lift retaining clip and pull pick rollers off the shaft.

Attach new pick rollers

Fit pick rollers onto the shaft, ensuring proper seating.

Install pick roller shaft

Insert the shaft into the scanner slot and secure the bushing.

Install new pick roller

Insert protrusion into hole, slide bushing, and fit to shaft.

Close sheet guide

Ensure both ends of the sheet guide are locked firmly.

Close ADF

Close the Automatic Document Feeder carefully.

Plug in and turn on

Reconnect power and turn on the scanner.

Reset pick roller counter

Reset the counter via Operator Panel or Software Operation Panel.

Checking Sheet Counters

Start Software Operation Panel

Access the Software Operation Panel to view counter status.

Select Device Setting

Navigate to the Device Setting menu within the panel.

Check Consumable Counters

Review the listed consumable counters and their status.

Resetting Sheet Counters

Click Clear Button

Click the [Clear] button for replaced consumables or after cleaning.

Click OK Button

Confirm the reset operation by clicking the [OK] button.

Settings Saved

The settings are saved after confirmation.

Liquid cleaner for removing dirt and stains from the scanner.

Cleaning Paper

Used to clean the inside of the scanner with Cleaner F1.

Cleaning Wipe

Pre-moistened wipes for cleaning scanner components.

Dry cloth

Used to wipe off dirt and stains, can be moistened with Cleaner F1.
