Hot-plug components
8.5 Hot-plug fan modules
The PSU bays of the BX900 S1 system unit can alternatively be fitted with hot-
plug fan modules.

I Whether and how many fan modules need to be installed depends on the
number of server blades installed and on the redundant power supply
requirements, see "Fitting rules for power supply units and fan modules"
on page 127.
Fan modules are removed and installed in the same way as power supply units,
see "Replacing the power supply unit" on page 135.
