  If the Furrion Indoor Fireplace remote control isn't working, first, replace the remote batteries, as they may be weak or defective. If that doesn't work, ensure you're operating the remote at a distance less than 20 feet from the front of the fireplace, pointing it at the control panel. Press the remote control buttons with an even motion and gentle pressure, as repeatedly pressing buttons in rapid succession may cause the remote to malfunction.
