1. The first is to change the mixing base relative to the main shaft which would
require making a new main shaft with the head bolt in a different position to
accomodate a different phasing shift of the mixing. This would allow use of the
standard mix in the radio.
2. The second and more likely approach is to use two mixes in addition to the
standard rotation mode to increase the electronic phase shifting in the radio.
(Note: On the older version of the 9Z there is only 30-degree phase shifting but on
the new 9Z it goes up to 40-degree.) This requires using a mix of elevator to
aileron and another mix of aileron to elevator, around 20% up and down mix will
solve the problem if you use the new 9Z. On the older 9Z you would likely need
40 to 60% to accomplish the correct mix ratio. To verify the elevator to aileron
mix is correct all that needs to be done is have the flybar exactly in line with the
tail boom and then move elevator fore and aft to verify the flybar is not seeing any
inputs. Then move the aileron right and left and verify the blades are not seeing
