Power is supplied by the power supply unit to the connected devices (rain sensor) or bus participant
(IO10, ST10/20) directly via the RZ XX-Master. The current consumption must be taken into account
in this case and reduced accordingly depending on the number of drives connected.
Calculation example:
Requirement: operation of 5 pcs K35 with rain detector
Calculation: 5 pcs K35 drives
Breaking current per K35 drive: 1.2 A
Total current 5 pcs K35 drives: 5 x 1.2 A = 6.0 A
Current consumption of rain detector: 0.25 A
Total current: 6.0 A + 0.25 A = 6.25 A
Selected control unit: RZ 50 (with a max. interrupting current of 6.5 A)
