2. Product description
2.1 General product features
The RWA compact control units RZ 25 / RZ 50 / RZ 75 are compact control units whose purpose is to
execute ventilation functions, and also smoke and heat exhaust ventilation functions in the event of fi re.
The power and emergency power supply and control electronics are located in one housing. In the event
of a power failure, an emergency power supply ensures that the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation
function is available for 72 hrs. The ventilation functions are deactivated if the power supply fails.
The control units are equipped with two monitored alarm lines to which manual call points (HSE) or
automatic detectors can be connected, or an external fi re alarm system (FAS) linked.
2.2 Functions
Smoke and heat exhaust ventilation function according to prEN 12101-9 and EN 12101-10 (i.e.
72 hrs operational readiness)
Ventilation functions with time control
Ventilation functions with weather control
Central ventilation functions through networking of individual systems
Linking of alarm lines
Integrated service and maintenance monitoring
Signalling of statuses to higher-level building control system (BCS)
