Lubrication
For optimal performance of the machine, lubricate the brewing unit after it has
brewed 500 cups of coffee or once every 3 months.
1 Switch off the machine and unplug it.
2 Follow steps 2 to 4 in section ‘Cleaning the brewing unit’ to remove the brewing
unit from the machine.
3 Apply some lubricant around the shaft in the bottom of the brewing unit.
4 Apply some lubricant to both sides of the part shown in the illustration.
5 Follow steps 7 to 11 in section ‘Cleaning the brewing unit’ to place the brewing
unit and the coffee grounds container back into the machine.
11 Slide the coffee grounds container back into the machine.
