2. Safety precaution
At t im e of delivery
- -
Check packaging and dishwasher im m ediately for signs of t ransport dam age. I f
the appliance is dam aged, do not put it int o use but contact your supplier or
cust om er service without delay.
- -Please dispose of packaging m at erials properly.
During installat ion
- -Sit e t he dishwasher and connect it up in accordance wit h the inst allat ion
instruct ions.
- -The dishwasher m ust not be connected to t he electricit y supply while
installat ion is being carried out .
- -Ensure t hat t he dom estic wiring is properly eart hed.
- -The m ains elect ricit y supply m ust conform t o t he det ails shown on the
dishwasher nam eplat e.
- -Do not connect t he dishwasher t o the elect ricit y supply via an ext ension cable.
- -Built - under and built- in appliances should always be inst alled under a
continuous work surface which it is at tached t o the adj acent cupboards, in order
to ensure t hat t he appliance is entirely st able.
- -Aft er t he appliance has been inst alled, the m ains plug should st ill be easily
accessible.
- -Not on all m odels:
The plastic housing on t he wat er inlet contains an electrically operat ed valve.
The connect ing wires are inside the inlet hose. Do not cut through t his hose and
do not im m erse t he plastic housing in wat er.
- -During inst allat ion, t he power supply cord m ust not be excessively or
dangerously bent or flatt ened.
During norm al use
- -The dishwasher m ust only be used by adult s for the washing of household
dishes and cooking utensils.
- -This appliance cannot be installed out door, not even if t he area in which it is
installed is covered by a roof; it is also very dangerous t o leave it exposed t o t he
rain and elem ent s.
- -Do not place any heavy obj ect s or st and on t he door when it is open. The
appliance could t ip forward.
- -The wat er inside t he dishwasher is not suitable for drinking.
- -Do not use solvents of any kind inside your dishwasher. They could cause an
explosion danger.
- -Open t he door very carefully if t he dishwasher is operat ing. There is a risk of
wat er squirting out .
