Gallagher TW- Weigh Scale Quick Start Guide

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The TW- is a tough and reliable product designed for use in typical livestock
environments. Proper care and maintenance can extend its life.
Listed below are guidelines for keeping the TW- in good condi on.
• Do not submerge the TW- in any liquid.
• Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
• A er use, clean with a damp cloth. Take care not to scratch the display.
• If storing the TW-1 for a long me, store with the ba ery charged.
So ware Updates
It is important to update the TW- so ware from me to me to ensure you have
the latest enhancements. Updates are regularly released to enhance the features
of the scale or to correct issues.
These updates can be accessed from the following website:

Follow the steps below to update the Weigh Scale so ware:
1. Download the updater fi le from the website and save to a USB fl ash drive.
2. Turn the TW- off .
3. Insert the USB fl ash drive and turn on the TW-.
The scale will recognise there is a USB s ck inserted and begin the upgrade
process.
4. Follow the instruc ons on the screen to complete the update.
CONNECTING THE TW-1 TO A COMPUTER
In order to transfer data on or off the TW-, you need to establish a connec on
between the TW- and a PC/laptop that has Animal Performance So ware (APS)
so ware installed.
• Plug the USB cable supplied into the TW-.
• Plug the other end of the cable into a USB COM port on your computer.
• Turn on the TW-.
• Use APS to complete the connec on and transfer informa on to and from the
TW-.

Note: It is also possible to connect the TW- to a PC using a WiFi connec on.
Firewall se ngs may need to be adjusted to allow this connec on.
