LED Programming
4 To program a CALL stop or end a protocol, select the appropriate STOP
SELECT option. If a stop is programmed it is not necessary to enter values for
subsequent cycles. See
“STOP SELECT” on page 4-4 for information about
the three different stop options.
If seven cycles are programmed without a stop selected, the program will end
after the Agitate/Wash-In operation of the seventh cycle.
Exiting Program Mode
Note: Pressing
the STOP RESET
button is the
preferred method of exiting
the Program mode.
To exit Program mode and prevent unintentional changes to any of the stored
programs, use one of the following methods:
To place the LED program board in Review mode, press the STOP RESET
button.
-or-
To begin processing in the Automatic mode, press the START SPIN button.
-or-
Turn the COBE 2991 OFF.
Review Mode
Note: When the
COBE 2991 is
turned on, the
PROGRAM LED shows the
number of the last program
displayed.
The Review mode allows you to review existing memory-stored protocols, but does
not allow changes to be made. Stored protocol parameters may be viewed by
selecting the program and stepping through the corresponding cycle numbers using
the CYCLE LED keys.
The LED program board defaults to Review mode when it is turned on.
Run Mode
Pressing the START SPIN button places the LED program board in Run mode.
When the LED program board is in the Run mode it is possible to
View the parameters of the selected program.
Change the parameters of the current cycle and/or subsequent cycles for the
currently-running protocol.
Changes made to the parameters of the procedure currently in progress are for that
procedure only. Programs stored in memory are not permanently changed. Other
programs cannot be selected when the LED program board is in Run mode.
