CONSTANTLY ENSURE THAT ALL THE SAFETY DEVICES ON THE MACHINE WORK
CORRECTLY AND EFFICIENTLY.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO TAMPER WITH, DISABLE, REMOVE AND/OR REPLACE THE SAFETY
DEVICES PRESENT ON THE MACHINE.
PROMPTLY REPLACE ANY FAULTY AND/OR DAMAGED SAFETY DEVICES USING ORIGINAL
SPARE PARTS ONLY.
CALL IN THE MANUFACTURER'S TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SERVICE OR REQUEST
AUTHORISATION TO REPLACE ANY SAFETY DEVICE.
KEEP SAFETY SIGNS CLEAN AND LEGIBLE.
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO REMOVE AND/OR DAMAGE THE SAFETY AND INDICATOR
SIGNS APPLIED TO THE MACHINE BY THE MANUFACTURER.
REPLACE DETERIORATED SAFETY AND INDICATOR SIGNS, REQUESTING REPLACEMENTS
FROM THE MANUFACTURER.
6.2- SAFETY SYSTEMS
The following safety systems are used in the machine:
1) GUARDS
These protect the drive transmissions organs (belts and pulleys) of the digging tool transmission
assembly.
2) SAFETY BAR
Steel bar located over the digging equipment. Partially covers the equipment and protects from
accidental contact.
3) ENGINE STOP SAFETY DEVICE
Red lever which is pressed down during work and, when released, immediately turns the engine off and
stops all the moving parts of the machine.
6.3- SAFETY AND INDICATOR SIGNS
Safety signs consist of coloured adhesive labels applied near hazardous points of the machine (see
FIG. 6).
Indicator signs consist of black and white adhesive labels applied near the relative control levers.
