POSITION DESCRIPTION
ALL Before transporting and handling the machine (see chap. 4).
ALL
To perform the required maintenance operations, following
permission by the safety manager.
A - MOVING THE MACHINE:
Standing up in the machine driving position to:
1) Switch the machine on and off;
2) Stop the machine in an emergency using the engine stop safety
device (red lever);
3) Drive and move the machine using the control levers;
4) Visually control the trench;
Standing on the LH side of the machine to:
1) Visually check the chain gear motor oil level;
2) Check the chain drive belt;
3) Check tyre pressure;
4) Visually check the motor oil level;
Standing on the RH side of the machine to:
1) Check tyre pressure;
Standing on the RH side of the machine to:
1) Clean the equipment;
2) Check the cutting tools on the equipment;
3) Check the tightness of the trench chain (if mounted);
4) Lubricate the cutting tools and their connections.
