7 If you are replacing the left hinge cover, go to Step 8.
-OR-
If you are replacing only the right hinge cover, go to Step 10.
8 Remove the keyboard by following the instructions in “Replacing the
keyboard” on page 29.
9 Remove the cooling assembly by following the instructions in “Replacing
the cooling assembly” on page 42.
10 Open the LCD panel all the way, so it lies flat on the table.
11 Insert the small flat-blade screwdriver or non-marring tool under the
bottom of the hinge covers, then carefully pry them up.
12 Snap the new covers into place over the hinges.
13 Reassemble the notebook.
