Changing the power scheme
To change the power scheme:
1 Tap Start, then tap Control Panel. The Control Panel window opens. If your
Control Panel is in Category View, tap
Performance and Maintenance.
Tap/Double-tap the
Power Options icon. The Power Options Properties dialog
box opens.
-OR-
Button-tap the
Power/Battery icon in the taskbar, then tap Adjust Power
Properties
. The Power Options Properties dialog box opens.
2 Tap the arrow button to open the Power Schemes list, then tap the power
scheme you want.
- OR -
Set the timers, then tap
Save As and type a name for the scheme.
3 Tap OK.
