Air Conditioner Controls
Lights beside the touch pads on the air conditioner
control panel indicate the selected settings.
Controls
Remote Control
ON/OFF
Turnsair conditioner on and off.
Display
Displaysthe temperature setting. Displays
hours when setting the timer.
MODE
On the remote control, use to set the air
conditioner to COOLor FAN mode.
On the air conditioner controls, use to
set COOLor FANmode at HIGH,NED or
LOWfan speed. Indicator lights on the air
conditioner controls will show the mode
and fan speedselected.
TEMP Increase +/Decrease - Pads
Useto set temperature when in COOL
mode.
Fan Speeds (Remote control onlyl
Use to set the fan speed at LOW, MED
or HIGH.
TIMER
ON--When the air conditioner isoff,it can
be set to automatically turn on in half an
hour to 24 hours at its previous setting.
Eachtouch will set the time in half hours up
to 10 and then in hours up to 24.
To cancel the On Timer, pressthe ON pad
until "CL"appears. Then wait until the
display turns off.
OFF--Whenthe air conditioner ison, it can
be set to automatically turn off in half an
hour to 24 hours. Eachtouch will set the
time in half hours up to !0 and then in hours
up to 24,
To cancel the OffTimer, pressthe OFF
pad until "CL"appears and wait for the set
temperature to be displayed. Theunit will
now resume normal operation.
SLEEP
Pressto set the air conditioner to run for
8 hours before it automatically returns to
the previous setting.
When the sleeptimer isset, the set
temperature will automatically increase
2°Fafter the second hour then 1% each
hour over the next two hours.
Tocancel the sleepmode, press the
NODE pad or the SLEEPpad a secondtime.
Remote Control Signal Receiver
NOTE:When the air conditioner isturned on,
it will automatically start inthe setting last used.
Remote Control
Toensure proper operation, aim the remote
control at the signal receiver on the air
conditioner.
The remote control signal has a range
of up to 21 feet.
Hake sure nothing isbetween the air
conditioner and the remote control that
could block the signal.
Hake sure batteries are fresh and installed
correctly-see the Careand Cleaningsection.
