Why my GE AHD08 Air Conditioner does not start?

If your GE Air Conditioner isn't starting, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the unit is fully plugged into the outlet. If that's not the issue, check your house's fuse or circuit breaker box and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. Power failures can also cause this issue; the unit will automatically restart with the last used settings after power is restored, but there's a 3-minute delay to protect the compressor. Finally, the current interrupter device might be tripped; press the RESET button on the power cord plug. If the reset button doesn't stay engaged, stop using the air conditioner and contact a qualified technician.
