There are several reasons why your GE washer might be leaking water: * You might be using too much detergent, especially in soft water. * The fill or drain hoses might be improperly connected—ensure they are tight at the faucets and rubber washers are installed, and that the drain hose is correctly inserted and secured. * The household drain could be clogged, requiring you to check your plumbing or call a plumber. * The drain hose might be rubbing against the wall, causing wear. Ensure it doesn't make contact with the wall. * There might be constant water pressure to fill hoses at the water source. Tighten the hoses at the faucets and check their condition, replacing them every 5 years if needed. * Switch to High Efficiency detergent.
