How to fix a blank display on GE JS760?
    • D
      David EdwardsAug 28, 2025
If the display on your GE Ranges goes blank, there are a couple of potential causes. First, check to see if a fuse in your home may be blown or the circuit breaker tripped; if so, replace the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. Also, the clock may be turned off; check the Special Features section.

Why my food does not bake properly in GE Ranges?
    • L
      Laura ThompsonAug 29, 2025
If your food isn't baking properly in your GE Ranges, several factors could be contributing to the issue: * The oven controls may be improperly set. * The rack position might be incorrect, or the rack isn't level. * You might be using incorrect cookware or cookware of an improper size. * The oven temperature may need adjustment. * Ingredient substitution can change the recipe outcome.

How to fix a GE Ranges storage drawer that won't close?
    • R
      Raymond LaraSep 22, 2025
The power cord may be obstructing the drawer in the lower back of the range, so reposition the drawer and power cord. The rear drawer support may be on top of the guide rail, so reposition the drawer. The soft close mechanism may be uncoupled from the drawer, so reset the mechanism.

Why is there fan noise coming from my GE JS760 oven?
    • C
      Charles GrantSep 14, 2025
If you hear fan noise from your GE Ranges, a convection fan may automatically turn on and off to maximize cooking evenness. This is normal. The convection fan will operate during preheat of the bake cycle and turn off after the oven is heated to the set temperature. Also, a cooling fan may automatically turn on and off to cool internal parts, even after the oven is turned off, which is normal on some models.

Why is there a strong odor when I use my GE JS760?
    • J
      joseph13Sep 23, 2025
An odor from the insulation around the inside of the oven is normal for the first few times the oven is used. This is temporary and will go away after several uses or a self-clean cycle.

What does 'F— and a number or letter' mean on my GE Ranges display?
    • V
      Victor GillSep 8, 2025
If you see “F— and a number or letter” flashing on your GE Ranges display, it indicates a function error code. Press the Cancel/Off pad and allow the oven to cool for one hour before putting it back into operation. If the code repeats, disconnect power to the oven for at least 60 seconds, then reconnect it. If the error persists, call for service.

What to do if GE JS760 Ranges oven is not clean after a clean cycle?
    • W
      William TrujilloAug 30, 2025
If your GE Ranges oven isn't clean after a clean cycle, it could be due to a couple of reasons. The oven controls may be improperly set. Also, the oven might have been heavily soiled; clean up heavy spillovers before starting the clean cycle, and for heavily soiled ovens, consider running the self-clean cycle again or for a longer period.
