STEP 2:
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
1. De-energize oven branch circuit.
2. Wit hoven Infront of esblnet openlng,connact flexlbis
power cord to the junction box In such s manner that
Itwill hang down In a natural loop agalnet the left side
of the back wail when the oven is installed. Do not
shorten this flexible powor cabis. The Ilexlble conduit
connector must be securely attached to the junction
box and thefisxlbis conduit must he securely attached
to the connector. If the fisxlble conduit will not fit
within the connector, do not install the oven until a
connector of the proper size IS obtained.
When connecting to a 3-conductor branch circuit, if
local codes permit, connect the oven hem ground
conductor with the crimped neutral (white) lead to
the branch circuit neutral (whife or gray In color), the
oven red lead to the branch circuit red lead and the
oven black lead to the branch circuit black lead In
accordance wifh local codes.
SPECIAL GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS
When connecting to a 4-conductor branch circuit;
When Installing oven in a mobile home;
When local codes do not pormlt grounding through
neutral:
1. Cut the neutral (white) lead from the crimp. Restrip
the neutral (white) lead to expose the proper length
of conductor.
2. Attach the appliance grounding lead (green or bare
copper) to the residence grounding conductor (green
or bare) In accordance wifh local codes. If the
resldenco grounding conductor IS aluminum, see
"WARNING" note.
3. Connect the oven neutral (white) lesd to the branch
circuit neutral (white or gray) In accordance with
local codes.
4. Connect the oven red lead to the branch clrcuif red
lead and the oven black lead to the branch clrcuif
black lead In accordance wifh local codes. If the
residence red and black leads am aluminum conduc-
tots, see "WARNING" note.

NOTE TO ELECTRICIAN=
The 3 power leads supplisd with this appliance are U.L.
recognized for connactlon to larger gauge household
wldng. The Insulation of these 3 leads Is rated at
temperatures much higher then the temperature rating
of household wldng. The current carrying capacity of
the conductor Is governed by the temperature rating of
the Insulation around the wire, rather than the wire
gauge alone.
