The HMI is located at the top of the fresh food
section. Through the HMI, the consumer is able to
change freezer and fresh food temperature settings,
switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, reset the
ZDWHU¿OWHUDQGVHWWKHGRRUDODUP
HMI Removal
1. Remove the light shield.
2. Remove the light housing (see the Damper,
Damper Removal section in this service guide).
3. Score the silicone between the top of the HMI
and the cabinet.
4. Push the HMI back to release the HMI from the
studs, then pull down.
5. Disconnect the connector.
