x Do not bend or fold the tether sharply, especially at the points where the tether connects to the
detector and to the unit.
Use
The tether should be kept with the mobile system at all times. It can be stored in the storage compart-
ment. Use the tether under these conditions:
x Low Digital Detector battery or no Digital Detector battery. Tether the system to continue imaging.
x Connectivity issues between the Digital Detector and the system. If you lose an image and are unsure
of the reason, you can use the tether to make sure the next image is transferred.
x Complete loss of connectivity between the Digital Detector and the system. You can use the tether
until your Service Engineer can diagnose and repair the problem.
